The Happy Clam started in 2022 when I was, coincidently, 22. With the goal to bring the news of NBA through the lens of the ordinary, I started my writing through Substack where I was able to get my sea legs under me. Trying to find ways to consistently keep up with the association at the fast pace it runs at, the content that was being released defiantly was ebbing and flowing.
I started watching the NBA on a nightly basis when I really became enveloped into the league and it became my version of television and source of relaxation—until I had way too much to say to the next person I was going to annoy the hell out of . I wanted to create a space where people could hear a voice that was familiar to them—a way for new and also regular fans of the sport to digest the overly and highly complicated realm of the NBA.
Making my own website and moving on from Substack, I finally feel that I am able to bring content in the way that I want to. A realm that is curated to the vibe I want to create while doing my service to the sport I love the most.
I hope to bring you an experience that you can’t get anywhere else.
